Kerala Tourism India – Visit Kerala to enjoy the exotic beaches,tropical backwaters and rejuvenation therapies of Ayurveda. The state tourism aims at accomplishing goals such as a clean and hygienic environment; installing a scientific and sustainable system for solid waste collection and management; proper and regular maintenance of public toilets; and safer drinking water and food.
Striking this balance is one of the key goals of responsible tourism, and initiatives like the Village Life Experience strive towards it. Part of the Responsible Tourism project, the Village Life Experience is offered in many places across the state, featuring tailor-made visits to the area.
The present study has been undertaken to assess the opinion of tourists and host community on the facilities provided in the hill destinations and assess the perception of host السياحة في كيرلا community on the impact of tourism in the hills of Kerala and also assess the role of promotional agencies in the identification and development of hills as tourism destination.
Kerala was one of the first states in India to pioneer the concept of Homestays (Bed & Breakfast in home settings) and make it a successful industry, providing a much needed source of extra income to the locals, while at the same time giving travelers more than a peek at the real Kerala.
